Permanent makeup is that — it is permanent.  Yes, it will need to be touched up to boost the color, but this is a decision that needs to be made knowing this is a commitment. There is no guarantee of outcome for services rendered.  Michel with Gilded Beauty strives to make every outcome positive for the client.

Each client varies in the texture and type of skin they have as well as what they do in their life.  Typically, it can last for many years. Microblading often needs a touch up 12-18 months or sooner depending upon the person.

Several factors affect the duration of your permanent cosmetic procedure, such as – sun exposure, topical products that are used, medications and your body chemistry. The expectation is that two appointments are needed to achieve the results.  Touchups/boost in pigment color, are needed as the color lightens over time.

In majority of clients having an MRI, there is no adverse reaction.  However, it is the clients responsibility to inform the MRI technician of any and all permanent makeup.  Please look at the following link for additional information.

Pain varies from person to person.  Most say there is little discomfort.  Michel uses a variety of topical anesthetics appropriate for the area undergoing the procedure.  No injected anesthetic is used for the eyebrow or eyeliner procedures.

Why?  If a person feels no pain, the technician may work too deeply causing tissue trauma, increased swelling and healing time. Hence the use of topical anesthetics leaves most people very comfortable during their procedures.

The average procedure takes between 2-2 1/2 hours.  The touchup after initial procedure takes less time.

If there is any bruising, it will subside after a few days, same in the case of swelling.  After care treatment and instructions are provided.  Failure to follow the aftercare instructions for permanent makeup procedures may result in discoloration, loss of pigment, or infection. It is up to the client to follow those instructions.
